The Capoeira Wheel (Roda de Capoeira) was inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The announcement was made in 11/25/2014, on the 9th. Session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage, headed by José Manuel Rodríguez Cuadros (Peru) and opened on 24/11 at the Organization’s headquarters in Paris, France.
